ESCAMBIA COUNTY, ALABAMA — The McKenzie community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 19-year-old Alexzander Blade Sellers, who tragically lost his life in a single-car crash late Saturday night. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the fatal accident occurred around 9 p.m. on Escambia County Road 4, approximately 15 miles east of Brewton.

Authorities report that Sellers was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro when the vehicle veered off the roadway, struck multiple trees, and overturned. Sadly, Alexzander was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
