The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Marion Post confirmed that the fatal collision occurred at approximately 10:23 p.m. on U.S. Route 23, near milepost 10, in Marion Township.

According to authorities, the crash involved a blue 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Jordan Tunnicliff and a white 2026 Freightliner Cascadia pulling a white 2020 Van Guard Trailer, operated by Robert Hutchinson Jr. of Milton Freewater, Oregon. The details surrounding the collision remain under investigation by troopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
